Custom Inground Pools

At Lake Erie Pools, we approach every project with a professional and personalized touch. We start by understanding your vision and thoroughly assessing your property and existing landscape. Together, we then select the ideal design, colors, and materials to bring your dream pool to life. We offer two distinct styles of inground pools:

Fiberglass Pools

Fiberglass pools are crafted from a single, pre-molded fiberglass shell, making them the most durable and long-lasting inground pool option available today. People love fiberglass pools not only for their beauty but also for their low-maintenance requirements, making them the easiest pools to care for.

Liner Pools

Liner pools offer remarkable benefits, including exceptional customization, straightforward maintenance, and visual appeal. Although they are the most budget-friendly inground pool option, their affordability does not diminish their value. In fact, at LEP, we find liner pools to be our preferred choice for installation. Their versatility shines through with endless customization options, from unique tanning ledges to personalized step layouts, allowing for a truly tailored and stunning inground pool experience.

    • Fiberglass Pools: Fiberglass pools typically have a lifespan of 25 to 30 years or more with proper maintenance. The durable fiberglass material is resistant to algae and staining, contributing to its longevity.

  • Liner Pools: Liner pools usually have a liner that lasts between 10 to 15 years, depending on the quality of the liner and maintenance practices. The pool shell itself will last much longer, but the liner will eventually need replacement.
    • Fiberglass Pools: Fiberglass pools are known for their low maintenance needs. The smooth, non-porous surface resists algae and staining, requiring less frequent cleaning and chemical treatment.

  • Liner Pools: Liner pools require regular maintenance to ensure the liner remains in good condition. The liner surface is smooth and relatively easy to clean.
  • Fiberglass Pools: Installation of fiberglass pools is relatively quick, often completed within a few weeks. The pre-formed fiberglass shell is delivered and placed in the ground, with minimal additional construction required.

  • Liner Pools: Liner pool installation takes longer than fiberglass but is still relatively fast. The process involves excavation, construction of the pool shell, and liner installation, which typically takes a few weeks.
    • Fiberglass Pools: Generally, fiberglass pools have a higher initial cost compared to liner pools due to the materials and manufacturing process. However, their long-term maintenance costs are lower.

  • Liner Pools: Liner pools are typically more affordable upfront, making them a budget-friendly option.
